Rural Judges DWI Court Pilot Project

This program is partially funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation, with funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The purpose of the Rural Judges DWI Court Pilot Project is to assist rural judges in the establishment of DWI courts, training them in the use of proven techniques of appropriate sentencing, intensive supervision, and behavior modification to prevent recidivism in deadly crashes involving DWI on Texas highways.

The Rural Judges DWI Court Pilot Project is produced by the Texas Association of Counties.
